Eastern Financial loses $16.8M in quarter
Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union continued its losing streak in the second quarter, reporting a loss of $16.76 million during the period that ended June 30. The Miramar-based credit union, South Florida's largest, also reported that total assets declined 1.5 percent to $1.786 billion from June 2007 and a slight drop from the $1.821 billion on March 31, 2007.
