Lump in Domino the cat triggers alarm

Q: Our dog, an old Doberman named Pansy, has lumps all over her body. The vet has checked every one of them with a needle and keeps a chart in her file so she can add any new ones and keep track of the old ones. Luckily, they're all benign fatty tumors that don't need to be surgically removed.

    Brutus just wants to mate

Q: My dog Brutus is a 150-pound Rottweiler. He's a gorgeous dog but he can be a bit of a bully when my female Rottweiler is in heat. I want to breed her to a dog with a better temperament so it's important that Brutus not mate with her. Unfortunately, it's hard to keep them apart -- Brutus will jump fences to get to her. I don't want to neuter him but I was considering a vasectomy. Our vet says he doesn't do this procedure but I read about it on your blog. Is Brutus a good candidate?
